“God replied to Moses, “ I Am Who I Am . Say this to the people of Israel: I Am has sent me to you.” (Exodus 3:14 NLT)
“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6 NLT)
“When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars you set in place, what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority.” (Psalm 8:3-6 NLT)
When Jesus used the phrase “I am” to describe Himself the Religious Leaders immediately recognized that He was identifying Himself as being one with the Father. They considered His self identification blasphemy. It put their religious mindsets on tilt and made them downright mad (angry and unbalanced). How dare He claim to be equal with the Great I AM!
The same thing is true today. When I make “I am” identification declarations that recognise who I am, and what I possess, in Christ it blows religion out of the water. “I am” the only “Jesus” that many people will ever see. Therefore, it is critical that “I know” who “I am.”
“I am” created just a little lower than God. Let that sink in.
“I am” crowned with glory and honor! WOW!!
“I am” in charge of everything God made. Look out religion.
“I am” in authority over all things. AMAZING! That changes everything in how I see myself.
Allow me to share again a list of “I am” statements that I shared previously…
