“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. Through these he has given us His precious and magnificant promisises, so that through them we may become partakers of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” (2 Peter 1:3-4 BSB)
“For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.” (Ephesians 2:6 NLT)
“Now when he was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation, nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:20-21 NKJV)
Those who lived under the Old Covenant (like David, Moses, Abraham, etc.) had to look up, and reach out, to receive what they needed from God (provision, healing, etc.). As a New Covenant son of God I already possess everything that God has to offer. I look inward, and reach into my spirit, to release whatever I am needing to experience. In Christ, the Kingdom of Heaven is within me, and flows out of me by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
I need to stop asking God to do what He has already done, and to give me what I already have. Just because I don’t currently see, or feel it, doesn’t mean that I don’t have it. That’s where faith comes in.
I sense that the Spirit wants me to be reminded that I am already perfected in my spirit regardless of what my mind tells me, or my physical senses feel or see.The Kingdom of Heaven is within me, and I am seated at the right hand of the Father in Christ. From that position I am partnering with my Daddy (the King of kings) to rule and reign over my life in this earthly realm. I already have everything that Daddy has to offer, every spiritual blessing, everything that pertains to both life and godliness. I have been given great and precious promises for victory in every aspect of my life. All of these promises are “yes” and “Amen” (so be it). Every battle has already been won. My enemy has already been defeated.
I have been given my “Promised Land.” There are giants, opposing nations, walled cities, and battles before me, but victory over all of them has already been given. All I need to do is follow the Lord’s battle plan for my life, stand in faith, and watch Daddy bring the walls down right before my eyes. Take hold of what I already possess and take what has already been given to me.
The Kingdom suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
I am laying claim to what is mine. My big brother gave His life so that I could live in my full inheritance TODAY.
