“In their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot upon a stone.” (Psalm 91:12 NKJV)
“If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling.” (Psalm 91:12 TPT)
“They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.” (Psalm 91:12 NLT)
“They will lift you up in their hands, so that you do not [even] strike your foot against a stone.” (Psalm 91:12 AMP)
“They will support you with their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” (Psalm 91:12 HCSB)
“And upon their arms they shall take you up, lest you strike your foot.” (Psalm 91:12 ABIPE)
One of the deepest desires that I have is to have someone in my life that loves me unconditionally, and is there for me no matter what. That is exactly what I have with my Daddy (my Heavenly Abba Father). He loves me so much that he has even assigned personal body guards to protect me 24 – 7 – 365. I have angels standing ready to protect me from everything, and everyone, that might harm me. They are paying such close attention to my every move that they will even jump in to keep me from stubbing my toe. Look at what Psalm 91:12 says. They will…
…bear me up;
…keep me from stumbling;
…lift me up;
…support me; and
…take me up.
Wow! I don’t need to worry about walking into a trap, stumbling, or even hurting my foot. What a comfort to know that I am cared for that greatly! So how does this work?
Psalm 103:20 (TPT) states, “So bless the Lord, all his messengers of power, for you are his mighty heroes who listen intently to the voice of his word to do it.”
When I speak the Word it gives direction, and releases my body guards (angels assigned to me with assignments given by my Daddy on my behalf) to do their work in my life. On the flip side, when I continually speak words of doubt, fear, and unbelief, it hinders them from carrying out their assignments. Once again, I can see just how important it is for me to control what comes out of my mouth. No wonder I will one day give an account for every “idle” (vain, uncontrolled, worthless) word that I speak.
Enough said for today. Just think about…
