“Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:5 NKJV)
“You satisfy my every desire with good things. You’ve supercharged my life so that I soar again like a flying eagle in the sky.” (Psalm 103:5 TPT)
“He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!” (Psalm 103:5 NLT)
“Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the [soaring] eagle.” (Psalm 103:5 AMP)
“He satisfies you with goodness; your youth is renewed like the eagles.” (Psalm 103:5 HCSB)
“He satisfies your body with precious things; your youth is renewed like the eagle.” (Psalm 103:5 ABIPE)
This verse is at the heart of all that Daddy has assigned to me, so I am going to look at a few more translations…
“Each day that we live, he provides for our needs and gives us the strength of a young eagle.” (Psalm 103:5 Contemporary English Version)
“The one who fills your life with blessings so that you become young again like an eagle.” (Psalm 103:5 GOD’S WORD Translation)
“He fills my life with good things, so that I stay young and strong like an eagle.” (Psalm 103:5 Good News Translation)
“He keeps satisfying you with good things, and he keeps renewing your youth like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:5 International Standard Version)
“Who satisfies you with good as long as you live so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:5 New Revised Standard Version)
As I have memorized, and meditated on, this verse, I have been asking my Daddy (my Heavenly Abba Father) the following questions…
…Daddy, what is aging supposed to look like?
…Is aging even a part of your desire and design for me?
,,,Daddy, why did you include examples of individuals that did not age in the Bible?
…Could it be possible that the “normal” aging process is not “normal” after all?
…How can I live like those you showed me in scripture who never aged, and some who never even died?
…If death is your enemy, and you plan on defeating it completely, is it possible for me to defeat it in my life?
…Were Enoch and Elijah exceptions, or examples?
This has been an ongoing discussion that Daddy and I have been having since the beginning of 2018. In previous blogs I shared how Daddy took me through a progression of mind renewing interactions in which He moved me from living in sin, sickness, aging, and death consciousness into living in righteousness, health, youth, and life consciousness. He continues to answer these questions, and many others, as He is literally taking me from faith to faith, glory to glory, and victory to victory (this also means he is moving me through the reality of battle to battle).
I am in the process of partnering with Daddy to write a book that will go deeper into this area of “renewed youth.” As He continues to answer these questions, and transform my life, I will share openly what He is doing in order to “refire and inspire” others. For today, I simply want to plant seeds that will get someone else to start asking the questions.
I am choosing “youth.” I have no expectation of aging or death. I have no expectation of sin or sickness. When any of these things try to attach themselves to me I simply turn to my Daddy and he fills me with the revelation of His desire and design for me; which does not include any of them.
The house of my life is built upon this Rock of Revelation. This is the “Mansion” that Jesus, “The Word,” went to prepare for me. In my house there is no sin, sickness, pain, sorrow, grief, mental anguish or illness, depression, anxiety, lack, aging, or death. In my house there is nothing missing or broken. In my house there is no limit or end. This is the house that scripture reveals that Jesus has built for me in the heavenly realms. This is the dwelling place that David prophesied of in Psalm 23 when he wrote “Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD as long as I live.” I will dwell in that house today and forever.
I have just scratched the surface of…
