When I started to ponder this verse I asked Daddy why He put this verse here. It seemed that He was saying that He had David include it in order to remind me just how much he puts me first in everything that He does. Just like how a dad will rearrange everything in his life to take care of a newborn baby. When a baby is born his or her life takes priority over the lives of the parents.
Everything that my Daddy created was with me in mind. He gave me the earth. He gave me the Kingdom of Heaven. He reminds himself of my many needs and does whatever it takes to meet them. This verse is a reminder of the “father’s heart” of God. He remembers when I was born. He will never forget how He felt when He created me. He took a piece of Himself and breathed it into my body giving me His life.
Father, please reveal yourself to me as my Daddy on the day of my birth. Help me to see myself through Your eyes, and sense the love in Your heart, as I consider…
