“What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than God, and have crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.” (Psalm 8:4-6 AMP)
“The heavens are the heavens of the LORD, but the earth He has given to the children of men.” (Psalm 115:16 AMP)
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.” (Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV)
My heavenly Abba Father (Daddy) is continuing to reveal to me that I am not just a passenger in life. I was not created to simply flow with the circumstances and situations that enter into my life.
He designed me to fulfill his desire to express his love and life to his creation. He has chosen to partner with me in taking dominion of this fallen world. He has designed me to fulfill his desire for me to reign in life!
Daddy’s desire for my life experience was first demonstrated by Adam who for a brief time lived an abundant, blessed life in a heaven-like environment prepared by his Father. There was no suffering, no pain, no sorrow, no sin, sickness, debilitating results of aging, diminishing of life, or death where Adam was living (the mirror image of God’s eternal dwelling place). However, there was an enemy in his midst looking for the opportune moment to strike. Adam was destined to rule and subdue all that was created in partnership with his Father. That is my destiny as well.
Sadly, Adam listened to the enemy. As a result, Adam rejected who he was, and what he possessed, in rebellion against his Father. He gave himself, his wife (and future family), and the earth that his Father had given him, to the enemy. He moved from a position of dominion, with the delegated power and authority to rule and subdue, to a position of being dominated as a slave by the enemy. The same can be said of me. Like Adam, far too often I have chosen to reject my Father and bow my knee to the enemy (many times in ignorance, blinded to the consequences of my attitudes and actions).
For many generations, Adam’s descendants followed in his footsteps. Every one of them choosing to reject the original desire and design of the Father, and falling short of his glory that he had clearly shown through his creation. With a “death wish” (known or unknown), the race of Adam continued to turn their backs on their Father Creator and blindly follow the enemy. I must admit that I have played follow the leader as one of Adam’s descendants.
When the time was right, the Last Adam (Jesus) stepped out of Glory and came to this fallen world to seek and to save the human race. He lived a sinless life clearly revealing the Father to those who would see him. He demonstrated who you and I were created to be, and what we possess, as children of Yahweh (Creator God – Abba Father – Daddy Papa). Praise the Lord! I now see my Daddy, and as a result I see myself, and what I possess, in Christ!
Jesus reconciled the world to the Father. He opened the door to complete redemption, restoration, regeneration, and rejuvenation, for those who receive the free gift of salvation by refusing to reject the life offered through his death, burial, resurrection, and ascension back to Glory where he is currently seated at the right hand of the Father. Having my eyes opened, I have chosen to embrace the life given to me by my heavenly Father, and have been restored completely by his Son (my brother) Jesus. I am now living in full possession of the abundant life that is the desire and design that my Daddy has always had for me. I am back in full partnership with the One who created me.
Together we are living in dominion. We are ruling over the natural realm and subduing the spiritual realm that continues to wreak havoc on creation effectively deceiving most to believe that his works are somehow the works of God.
With the authority of Jesus’ name, the power of his blood, and the Word of my testimony, I am doing my part to make disciples of all nations, healing the sick, casting out demons, bringing deliverance to the oppressed, sharing the Gospel with the poor, and setting the captives free. Jesus destroyed the works of the devil. Together we are enforcing his victory over sin, sickness, and the devil today.
Has Daddy revealed himself to you?
Has he revealed to you who he created you to be?
Has he revealed to you what you possess?
Has he revealed to you the fact that he desires to have you partner with Him to live in dominion over his creation, ruling over the natural realm, subduing the fallen spiritual realm, expanding the manifestation of the Kingdom of Heaven here and now?
This is the greatest revelation I have ever received.
