“for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]” (2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP)
“As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good.” (2 Thessalonians 3:13 ESV)
“So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ].” (Philippians 2:12 AMP)
Breakthrough is coming!
Don’t begin by looking for visible differences around you. The breakthrough will start on the inside and work it’s way out.
Let Daddy change the way you think, speak, and act in the face of what appears to be the same old stuff.
I predict that if we step up our love for Jesus, submit to Daddy, and follow the Holy Spirit, as the year progresses we will experience breakthrough that will amaze us.
The key is to be willing to walk by faith as if it were day one even though it has already taken so long, and to work as though we were just starting even though we are already tired and worn out.
We are standing right on the edge of something so big we have not yet imagined it!
