From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.” Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works. “Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not [imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:16-21 NKJV)
Looking back at my life thus far I have so much to be thankful for that I don’t know where to begin. Strike that! I do actually know where to begin. It all begins with my loving heavenly Father who through his Son Jesus adopted me into his family. He has blessed me beyond measure. I am a beloved son of the King of Kings.I need to stop for a moment and do a happy dance.
Ok, I’m back.
Looking at today, I have been forgiven of all of my sins, healed of all my diseases, delivered from destruction, set free from bondage, crowned with mental health, satisfied with abundant provision so that my vitality and vigor (youth) has been restored! I already possess all of this and more in my brand new spirit. These things are included in my Kingdom benefits. They are part of my inheritance in Christ. My spirit is completely forever “saved.” Now I have the privilege of working this salvation out into my soul (mind) and body. My mind (soul) is being saved (renewed) day by day. My body will be saved (made alive) once it has been glorified.. Until that day it is daily being quickened (enlivened) as mortality is being progressively overtaken by immortality. Time for another happy dance!
As soon as I catch my breath we will keep going.
Looking forward to what is ahead of me, I can honestly say that the best is yet to come. Today I am experiencing the down payment of the Holy Spirit which is producing an ever increasing experience of the influence and impact of the Kingdom of Heaven which has been deposited in my heart and in my hands. I have not even scratched the surface on experiencing all that my Daddy (my heavenly Abba-Daddy / Father-Papa) has for me. However, I am not going to make the mistake of pushing my expectations off into a distant “Heaven som day.” Through faith and obedience I am working out my salvation daily as I work to enter into the rest of the finished work of Christ. Even so, I can’t imagine what lies ahead! Another happy dance.
Jesus came to reconcile us to the Father. He started by revealing his true character and nature.. He is Love. He is Good. Only good gifts come from him. If it brings life and abundance it comes from above. If it brings death and decay it comes from below. Good God, bad devil. It truly is that straight forward and simple. It takes a child-like approach to the Kingdom i n order to see this clearly. Look past what you see with your natural eyes and hear with your natural ears. Look and listen from your brand new child-like spirit eyes and ears.
“Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth (here and now) as it is in heaven.”
