Eric’s Life Lesson # 305: The Faith of a Child: What’s it Look Like? – Part 1 – Overview

…”and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3 NKJV)

“Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” (Luke 18:17 NKJV)

“And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, ‘let the children come to me, do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.’ And he took them, laying hands on them.” (Mark 10:13-16 ESV)

Jesus told His disciples that they had to become as a little child to enter into the Kingdom. As I was pondering that concept I asked Daddy (my Heavenly Abba Father) to help me see just what that looked like. While I am sure that I will not cover every inch of ground, He has brought a number of things to my mind. Here is the beginning of the list of what I think it looks like to have the faith of a child that Jesus was talking about.

…Innocent

…Simple

…Pure

…Unconditional

…Unlimited

Let’s look at each of these individually over the next few days. if any other characteristics come to mind we will look at them also.
