“Never stop praying” (1 Thessalonians 5:17 NLT)
”So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (Hebrews 4:16 NLT)
“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” (Mark 11:24 NKJV)
Remember our 3 point outline for looking at Paul’s prayers? Here it is…
…Step 1: Probe the prayer under the light of the Holy Spirit.
…Step 2: Personalize the prayer with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
…Step 3: Pray the prayer through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We have gone as far with probing as we are going to go at this time. The challenge is to invest more time and effort to keep probing in the days to come. Now it is time to move on.
Step 2: Personalize the prayer with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Here is how I believe the Spirit has led me to pray…
…“Dear Father in Heaven,
I come to you today on behalf of those believers who have joined with me in sharing this blog. They are continually on my mind.
I pray for each of you, believing that the Lord will give you an awareness of just how much you mean to me. Every time I think about you my heart fills with thankfulness. I ask that our Father place within you by the Holy Spirit his divine wisdom and revelation that will bring you into a deep intimate relationship with him.
I pray that your imagination will be filled with the light of the Spirit revealing the hope that he has called you to. May he give you a clear picture of the inheritance that he has placed within you. You have been set apart to live with the expectation of experiencing the fullness of God’s goodness.
I pray Father that you would pour out your infinite power on each of my precious brothers and sisters. Give them a keen awareness of the power that you have placed within them by the Holy Spirit through their relationship with Jesus Christ.
May each of you experience non-stop God’s immeasurable power in your life. This power makes you a billboard for the Father as it flows through you. This is the power that flows from the exalted position of Jesus from his authority over all that exists. He has been given authority and dominion over everything and has given that authority to you and me. We are his representatives on the earth.
Thank you Jesus. It is in your name that I pray.
Amen (so be it)”
Step 3: Pray the prayer through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Please join with me as we together come into agreement in praying according to the pattern set before us by Paul. Just as Paul prayed for the Ephesian believers, I am going to pray for you. There is an anointing on this prayer. I encourage you to pray this prayer just as if we were together in person wherever you are as you are reading this. I think it would be appropriate for you to extend your hands toward the video signifying the receiving attitude of your heart.
Play the video with the expectation of experiencing everything that we are praying for.
Be blessed as you walk in full awareness of the power of praying this prayer over yourself and those you love, following the example of.…
