“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,” (2 Corinthians 10:5 ESV)
“But I tell you that men will give an account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.” (Mathew 12:36 BSB)
“For we are each responsible for our own conduct.” (Galatians 6:5 NLT)
Thank you for walking this pathway to restoration with me. I don’t know about you, but this walk changed my life. I no longer look at myself the same way. I don’t think like I used to. The way that I speak is changing. I am definitely looking at the ways in which I act. I am beginning to question my actions before I do them. I am asking myself…
…Is that thought in line with how my heavenly Father thinks?
…Would Jesus say that?
…Is that something that the Holy Spirit would want me to do?
I may not yet be who I want to be, but I am definitely not who I used to be. As I partner with the Holy Spirit to take every thought captive, control the words that come out of my mouth, and take responsibility for my actions, I am beginning to look and sound more and more like Jesus.
I have a sneaking suspicion that my journey is just getting started.
I am glad I walked down…
