“Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, and all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul and do not forget any of His benefits; Who forgives all your sins, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the [soaring] eagle.” (Psalm 103:1-5 AMP)
“But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8 NLT)
“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:13 BSB)
We have not only been forgiven and healed; we have been redeemed. There are two Kingdoms operating simultaneously in this World. The Kingdom of Heaven which is our intended dwelling place, and the Kingdom of Darkness which is Satan’s domain. Due to Satan’s rebellion he was thrown out of Heaven to this Earth. The Father gave this Earth to Adam and Eve and gave them dominion. It was their responsibility to subdue Satan, however they listened to his lies and sinned against their Father. This act of rebellion resulted in their being separated from their Father, entering into Satan’s family, and giving him dominion over the Earth. From that moment forward all of the Human Race have been born separated from the Father in sin.
At just the right time, Jesus became a man (the second Adam), and through His life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, took back all that the first Adam lost. He redeemed us from destruction and the Pit. All who accept Jesus as savior are redeemed. We have been translated out of the Kingdom of Darkness into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Everything that brings sin, sickness, death and destruction comes from Satan. Everything that brings righteousness, life, blessing, and abundance comes from the Father. We do not need to accept anything in our lives today that will not be in our lives in Heaven. We have been given the right and privilege to pray for anything that exists in Heaven, but is currently missing in our lives, with full expectation of receiving what we are praying for.
No matter what my life looks like today, I will hang on to the promise of…
