Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority—the flocks and the herds and all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that swims the ocean currents. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” (John 14:12-14 NLT)
I have written about the things I am about to share before, but they are so amazing that I am compelled to share again. I will never stop being completely awestruck at the fact that the Creator of everything that exists has chosen to bring me into His family and form a partnership with me (Father and Sons/Daughters). That is beyond my ability to comprehend. While I may never fully understand it, I choose to receive, believe, and conceive it in my life.
It is mind boggling to me that the Creator of the Universe would choose to partner with me in fulfilling His design and desire for creation, yet He does. From the very beginning He chose to delegate a portion of His power, glory, and authority to His created children, of which I am one.
When the Heavenly Father created the first human being He breathed Himself into the body that He formed from the elements of the earth. That earth-formed body immediately came alive, filled with the Creator’s breath (spirit), as a living soul, whom He named Adam. He then gave the earth to Adam, who He had created just a little lower than Himself, and delegated His authority to him. Adam was given the power and authority to take dominion over the earth. He was appointed to rule over the physical realm (nature, animals, plant life), populate the earth, expand the Kingdom of Heaven environment of the Garden of Eden throughout the planet, and subdue the spiritual realm (Satan and the fallen angels that were inhabiting the world). The Father’s plan was, and is today, to work together with His children in a “Super-Natural” partnership.
When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I was placed back into the original design and desire that the Creator had for Adam. I have been justified (made just as though I had never sinned), sanctified (set apart for for my Heavenly Father’s design and desire), redeemed (set free from the power of sin and death), and made righteous (I am the righteousness of God Himself through Jesus Christ). I am in the same “Super-Natural” partnership with the Creator that Adam was prior to sinning. I have been given the same commission Adam had, and the same delegated power, glory, and authority to get the job done.
Jesus, the second Adam, fixed everything that the first Adam had broken. He righted every wrong. He took back the authority and dominion that Adam delivered to Satan, and gave it to me (and all who are born again children of God).
Through the finished work of Jesus (sinless life, atoning death, burial, resurrection, and ascension) the earth has been given to me. I am the one with the responsibility to rule and subdue it. I have been given the authority in the Name of Jesus, and power of His blood, to put Satan in his place as a defeated foe. I have been given everything needed to fulfill the commission given to Adam by his Creator and passed on to me by Jesus. I am called, and empowered by the Spirit of God, to…

…Preach the Gospel to the poor,
…Make disciples of nations,
…Heal the sick,
…Cast out demons,
…Raise the dead,
…Perform miracles, signs, and wonders to the Glory of God,
…Live with Divine provision and protection, and…
…Be a vessel through which the Heavenly Father’s Kingdom comes, and His will is done, on Earth as it is in Heaven!
