Today and tomorrow I am going to simply share a number of verses on peace, and a number of verses on salvation. I encourage each of us to meditate on, (maybe even memorize) the Word and allow the Holy Spirit take us deeper into experiencing what we possess.
“In peace [and with a tranquil heart] I will both lie down and sleep, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety and confident trust.” (Psalm 4:8 AMP)
“The LORD will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace.” (Psalm 29:11 AMP)
“But the humble will [at last] inherit the land and will delight themselves in abundant prosperity and peace.” (Psalm 37:11 AMP)
“When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” (Proverbs 16:7 AMP)
You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You–in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].” (Isaiah 26:3 AMP)
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV)
Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]” (John 14:27 AMP)
“Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed)” (Romans 5:1 AMP)
“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking [what one likes], but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 14:17 AMP)
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.” (Romans 15:13 AMP)
“Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always].” (Colossians 3:15 AMP)
Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all.” (2 Thessalonians 3:16 AMP)
