Here are some verses on Salvation for us to ponder.
“You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, and Your right hand upholds and sustains me; Your gentleness [Your gracious response when I pray] makes me great.” (Psalm 18:35 AMP)
“For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my defense and my strong tower; I will not be shaken or disheartened.” (Psalm 62:1-2 AMP)
“Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive fails and the fields produce no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there
are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation!” (Habakkuk 3:17-18 AMP)
“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation].” (Acts 4:13 AMP)
” For there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation].” (2 Timothy 1:9 AMP)
“Because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous–being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10 AMP)
“For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to reject ungodliness and worldly (immoral) desires, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives [with a purpose that reflect spiritual maturity] in this present age.” (Titus 2:11-12 AMP)
“So Christ, having been offered once and once for all to bear [as a burden] the sins of many, will appear a second time [when he returns to earth], not to deal with sin, but to bring salvation to those who are eagerly and confidently waiting for Him.” (Hebrews 9:28 AMP)
“Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and though you do not even see Him now, you believe and trust in Him and you greatly rejoice and delight with inexpressible and glorious joy, receiving as the result [the outcome, the consummation] of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” (1 Peter 1:8-9 AMP)
