“Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103:5 NKJV)
“But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength, and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.” (Isaiah 40:31 AMP)
“He also brought them out with silver and gold. And there was none feeble among His tribes.” (Psalm 105:37 NKJV)
I am convinced that one of the most overlooked benefits of living in the Kingdom of Heaven, as a child of the King of kings, is “Youth.”
I have been promised “renewed youth” which is compared to the strength of the eagle. It is the strength and stamina that causes me to walk and not faint, run and not grow weary, regardless of my age. It gives life and abundance, and defies aging and death. As a matter of fact, the more that I lay hold of it, the more predominant it becomes in my life. This “promise” of youth has already been given to me. It is within me right now regardless of my current age or condition.
I think it would be a tragedy if the only generation that fully experienced the “Kingdom-Natural” benefit of renewed youth was the stubborn, rebellious, hard hearted Israelites living under the limitations of the Old Covenant. Remember that for those who are living in Christ under the New Covenant the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven is within. The “natural” things of this fallen world that I experience are less than “natural” for me. Therefore, everything that is “natural” for God in His Kingdom is “natural” for me; hence “Kingdom-Natural”.
When the Israelites left the Egyptian bondage a miracle took place in which over 2 million people instantly received the full manifestation of “renewed youth.” There were “no feeble among them.” All signs of old age were gone. Everyone’s youth was renewed. Even more amazing, the aging process was halted to such a great degree that for the next 40 years not even their clothes aged. Think about it, a whole nation with none of the deteriorating effects of aging for 40 years. What an example of favor and grace being poured out on a completely underserving group of people.
Most of my life I thought that Moses and Caleb were “exceptions”, who were blessed with something “special” in order to fulfill their “unique” assignments. Daddy challenged me to stop seeing them this way. They were given as “examples” of what the entire nation “experienced”. And the nation’s “experience” was an example of what I now “possess” in Christ. The things that “came upon” those who followed Yahweh in the Old Covenant are now the things those who are in Christ “possess”. What was “on” them, is “in” me.
Along with Moses and Caleb, a whole generation (over 2 million people) experienced youth renewal so abundantly that their eyesight never dimmed, their health and strength never deteriorated, and their vitality and vigor never diminished.
I live under the New Covenant with even better promises. I live as not only a “servant” of the Most High God, but as “child” of God (my Daddy). I expect an even greater degree of the Kingdom promises than I see demonstrated in the pages of the Bible. I expect to experience the full manifestation of the eternal life that fully dwells within me. To the degree that my mind is renewed to think, speak, and act like my Daddy I will experience His life (Zoe) today. Youth renewed!
It is time for the “Rise of the New Caleb Generation!”
Bless the Lord oh my soul, and forget not all His benefits…so that my youth is renewed like the eagles!
