“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” (2 Peter 1:3 BSB)
The Spirit of the Lord (my “Abba Father” – Daddy) just gave me a revelation of the Truth pertaining to “obedience” that has set me free.
“Obedience brings blessing” has been a credo of mine all of my life. As I was reading and pondering, here is what I heard in my spirit from daddy through the Holy Spirit…
“Eric, as my son, obedience doesn’t bring you blessing, you are already blessed regardless of your obedience. You already possess all spiritual blessings, and everything that pertains to life and godliness. Within you dwells my Kingdom – the Kingdom of Heaven. I have already given you unconditionally an abundance of everything my Kingdom has to offer in every realm of life (spiritual, physical, mental, and material). I have blessed you just because I love you, with no strings attached. Obedience doesn’t bring you what you already have. Obedience keeps the enemy from stealing your blessings and allows you to experience fully everything I have already given you.”
What I heard in my spirit lines up with everything I find in the Word (I have “tested the Spirit” by the “more sure Word”) so I have received this “Truth” with gladness and it is setting me free!
I am sharing it with you so that you also can “taste and see that the Lord is good.” Receive, believe, conceive, and be set free!
