“Bless the LORD, all His works, in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!” (Psalm 103:22 NKJV)
“I will bless and praise the Lord with my whole heart! Let all his works throughout the earth, wherever his dominion stretches – let everything bless the Lord!” (Psalm 103:22 TPT)
“Praise the LORD, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. Let all that I am praise the LORD.” (Psalm 103:22 NLT)
“Bless the LORD, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion; bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul,” (Psalm 103:22 AMP)
“Praise the LORD, all His works in all the places where He rules. My soul, praise Yahweh!” (Psalm 103:22 HCSB)
“Bless LORD JEHOVAH, all his Servants who are in all the Earth of his dominion. Bless LORD JEHOVAH, oh my soul.” (Psalm 103:22 ABIPE)
I have come to the final verse in Psalm 103. David ends where he started. His closing words are once again words that he is speaking to himself as he reminds himself to bless (praise and worship) the Lord. I am convinced that words are the most powerful force in the universe. In my life, the words that I speak to myself are critical. No wonder I am told that I will one day give an account for every idle (vain, empty, powerless, negative, unplanned, thoughtless) word that I speak. I need to talk to myself every minute of every day reminding myself of who I am, who my Daddy is, what Kingdom I belong to, and what I possess in Christ.
In verse 22 I do see one difference from what David spoke of in the opening verses. David reminded himself, and in turn me, to remember the Lord’s dominion rule. I will bless (praise and worship) the Lord for His dominion in the Earth which He has given to me. Wherever I am, the Lord’s dominion is present. He rules in, and through, me. That is powerful! Wherever I take a step becomes property under my Daddy’s dominion rule. Whenever I speak His Word I create an atmosphere of His dominion rule over everything that hears. WOW!
I will be meditating on Psalm 103 for the rest of my days, beginning with meditating on…
